I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to any project or role within the industry. My expertise spans various chemical engineering skills, including evaluating and improving plant processes, investigating incidents, developing documentation, conducting studies, managing safety protocols, performing laboratory analysis, controlling production operations, and executing upgrade projects.

 

With over 4 years of industry experience, I have gained valuable expertise in the field. During my 3-year tenure at a chemical company, I had the opportunity to evaluate and enhance existing chemical plant processes, as well as investigate non-conforming chemicals and accident incidents. This involved developing detailed documents such as P&IDs, SOPs, and working instructions, while also managing material and energy balances. I also conducted HAZOP studies, implemented SHEQ protocols, performed risk assessments, and issued appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Additionally, I handled laboratory responsibilities, including receiving samples, conducting quality analysis, and performing tests. Another area of proficiency is in wastewater treatment and effluent testing, specifically sulfates, TSS, BOD, COD, DAF filtration systems, and anaerobic and aerobic pulp water treatment.

 

During my time at an oil manufacturing company, where I was employed for nearly a year, I gained valuable experience in soybean oil extraction and process engineering for a preparation and extraction plant with a capacity of 1600 tons per day. I operated SCADA systems to control production operations, overseeing variables such as flow rate, pressure, and temperature. I developed mass and energy balances for various components within the site, including the plant, cooling towers, boiler steam house, and overall water company. Additionally, I specialized in creating P&IDs, 2D isometric drawings, and manufacturing flow diagrams (MFDs). I also executed plant upgrade projects, while managing management of change (MOC) processes. I served as a professional SHE representative, conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.
